You might be asking yourself, why do I wait to know about Platinum Dobermans? Maybe because our history is somewhat of a dream come true for anyone who has experienced the thrill of showing their dogs in whatever arena they have chosen.

We are the definition of the “Average” people who had one of the most rewarding rides that anyone could imagine.

We bought our first Doberman in 1980. Four years later, our third Doberman came into our lives and forever changed it. She gaue us our 15 mins. of fame and endeared herself to people around the world. Her registered name was Ch. Royal Tudor’s Wild as the Wind UD TX, ROM “Indy”

The name that everyone recognized, was named after our favorite character from the movies, Indiana Jones. Her popularity was far reaching. Enojugh so that she came to be known as “Our Indy” a phrase coined by Bonnie Linnell Clarke.

Indy was our first champion. She became the number one dog in the country, all breeds in 1988. She won the Working Group at Westminster KC in 1988 and returned to go BIS there in 1989. She went Best of Breed at the Doberman Nationals in 1987 and 1989 and won the Top Twenty Conformation competition her first year eligible in 1987. She retired from active competition in 1989 as the top winning BIS Doberman in history and the Top Working Dog in history.
