DEDICATION

We bought our first Doberman in 1980, from an ad in the newspaper. This one act set in motion events that have led our lives on a path we could have never imagined. Brandy was her name and Sue took her to an obedience class. At that class, we met Pat and Rosalie Alvarez and put Sue on the path of becoming an obedience competitor. We bought our second Dobe, Talent, from Pat and Rosalie and then came Indy and the world really changed.

Over the years, we have owned 13 Dobermans. All of them have been obedience titled dogs and we have had 5 obedience tiled Champions, including 2 Ch, OTCHs. Sue and the kids have won HIT at the Nationals 8 times, with 4 dogs (2 of which went HIT 3 times each).

Jessi, now almost 13 years old, is one of our two dobies that have 3 HIT’s and she has also won the Top Twenty Obedience Competition 3 times. Jessi is also our Obedience Grand Master (OGM) Doberman.

We have won BOB at the Nationals twice (Indy 1987 & 1989) and the Top Twenty Conformation Competition in 1987, also with Indy. Indy’s son Josh went BOS from the Veterans class at the Nationals with Sue holding the leash. Both Indy and Josh were ranked in Top Twenty Conformation and Obedience. Eight of our dogs have been Obedience Top Twenty finalists. One dog we have bred, but did not own, was also ranked in Top Twenty Obedience and another has been ranked in Top Twenty Agility.
